Beautiful Gems!
On November 15th, Ruby the Basset hound gave birth to a litter of beautiful gems! Ruby was surrendered to the
rescue extremely pregnant after her owners realized how much work it is to raise a litter of puppies. Ruby and the
father of the litter are both AKC registered Basset hounds. We will not be registering the litter, but Ruby and her little
gems are purebreds. Ruby and her babies will all need homes once they are weaned. They will be ready for
adoption on March 1st!! We are taking applications for Ruby and her gems in the meantime so we will hopefully
have homes lined up for everyone by then.
Ruby is a very sweet tempered dog. She is a doting mother and very protective of her babies, yet lets us handle and
play with them. Ruby is a very well housetrained dog and is remarkably quiet for a basset. She will whine when it is
time to go out, or to come back in the house. Ruby thrives with children and we know that she'll be happiest in a
home full of children!

Adoption fees for the Bassets will be 350$ each. This fee
includes their vaccinations, deworming, vet checks and
surgical castration or spay. Once you are approved to
adopt, a 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit will be required
to hold the puppy. This allows the rescue the funds to
perform their surgery. The remainder is due upon pickup
after their surgery is done.

age for us.
